Lake Tahoe Adventure Trip Leaders

We are currently accepting candidates for our 2023 Summer season.  The positions offer the ability to work outdoors in the Lake Tahoe region leading guests from around the world on numerous outdoor adventure tours.  It is imperative that candidates have excellent communication skills, are strong self starters and possess a fun – outgoing personality.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead guests on outdoor adventures throughout the lake Tahoe Area
Oversee the safety of all participants
Provide a fun, knowledgeable experience for all clients
Load & Unload all equipment needed for the day
Inspect and report any defective equipment
Transport all equipment to and from start locations (Vehicles provided)

REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 Pounds
Must have a clean driving record
Must live in the South Lake Tahoe Area
Must be punctual – Being late for Clients is not an option
Must have extensive knowledge of Lake Tahoe’s Trail systems, beaches, mountains & natural history
Must be a strong self starter and be capable of thinking on your feet in any situation

DETAILS

The position is seasonal (Winter / Summer).  Seasons, weather and demand dictate both work schedules and work flow. Summers and winters are busy season. If you travel or are not in Tahoe for extended periods during busy season – you will not be hired. Typical schedules fluctuate given the season.  Typical schedules run 8am-2pm and days vary week to week.
